| 1.
Pretreatment |
The pretreatment compartment receives
the wastewater and partially treats it physically and biologically
at the same time allowing solid matter to settle.
| 2.
Bio-reactor |
The pretreated water entering the aeration compartment is
injected with fresh air to provide oxygen. During this mixing
process huge numbers of microorganisms, called a biomass,
attach themselves to the pretreatment water. These organisms
rapidly convert the wastewater to a colorless, odorless liquid.
| 3.
Settling |
The settling compartment separates any remaining fine particle
and returns them to the treatment compartment.
| 4.
Chlorinator |
The treated wastewater flows through the chlorinator where
it comes in contact with JET-CHLOR
chlorine tablets. The tablets gradually dissolve and slowly
release even, controlled amounts of active chlorine into the
treated wastewater. Final treated cololess and odorless liquid
leaves the JET Plant environmentally safe.
